That the dates, cut-off mark and other
details of the 2014/2015 post UTME screening exercise of the University
of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) have been announced is no longer news. The
publication from the University Registrar was released on Monday, 14th
of July 2014. According to the publication, the screening will be conducted only at the Nsukka campus of the University on Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9, 2014.
ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION
Candidates who scored 180 or above in their 2014 UTME are expected to obtain a scratch card (N2,000) for online pre-registration at "any branch" of Zenith Bank Plc, UBA (in the major cities of the Federation), and the University of Nigeria Micro-Finance Banks at Enugu and Nsukka.
Online Pre-registration commenced on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 and would end on Friday, August 1, 2014 (a total duration of 17 days including weekend days).
DIFFICULTY IN GETTING UNN POST UME SCRATCH CARDS IN DIFFERENT CITIES/STATES
Many
candidates have called to report that they were unable to discover any
banks in their cities selling the UNN post UME registration scratch
cards as at the end of Wednesday, 16th July (which was supposed to be
the date for the commencement of online registration).By the end of today, we would have only 11 days (minus weekends) left for registration. Yes, 12 days.
Remember. Candidates who are not able to register on or before 1st of August will not be screened. That's serious! Do your best to procure your scratch card and tidy up your registration within the stipulated period.
How do I Order for my UNN post-UTME Scratch Card and Registration?

2. You would get a reply containing the bank account to pay into and the amount to be paid.3. Once you receive that, proceed to the bank to make the payment.
4. After the payment, send an SMS to the same line (07060845289) in the format displayed below:
FORMAT
*Depositor name
*Teller number
*Contact phone number
*Valid email address (optional)
5. Within 24hrs of confirmation of payment, your access code and serial number will be sent to you so that you can do your registration yourself.
NOTE:
If you'd want me to buy the scratch card and do the registration for you, you can also indicate. Once you pay, include your JAMB registration number in your text and your valid email address. Your completed registration form will be sent permanently to your email, where you can download and print it anytime you wish.
Finally, for those who are bothered and asking questions about accommodation, note that the Student Affairs Department of UNN will officially take care of your accommodation. Once you get to the campus, go straight to Student Affairs Department and get a decent accommodation in the school hostel. It's very very important that you stay under the watchful eyes of UNN Security rather than staying outside. I don't think I need to stress more on this. Just be wise to avoid stories that touch.
